STI Electronics in Madison, AL shall conduct two (2) courses of the Aviation and Missile Research, Development, and Engineering Center (AMRDEC) Engineering Directorate (ED) approved 40 hour hands-on Cable and Wire Harness Fabrication Training Program based on the Electronics Industry manufacturing processes and industry standards IPC/WHMA-A-620 Requirements and Acceptance for Cable and Wire Harness Assemblies for Class 3 product and two (2) courses of the AMRDEC ED approved 40 hour hands-on Soldering and Electronic Fabrication training . The management of the training programs content will be provided by the Quality Engineering Division (QE). Upon successful completion of the either of the 40 hour hands-on training programs, the contractor will issue a certificate of completion to each successful candidate. The class size for each course shall accommodate a minimum of 5 and up to 8 individuals. The dates of the class shall be scheduled with mutual agreement of the contractor and Government. The Contractor shall provide Workmanship Electronic Fabrication Kits and classroom hand-outs. The training course and materials shall comply with the approved training programs developed by STI and approved by the Engineering Directorate (ED). The period of performance will consist of 12 months from date of award. In accordance with FAR 5.203(a)(1) this synopsis will be posted for 3 days.
