The Department of Communication Technologies seeks proposals from qualified manufacturers provide cable management equipment, as part
of the Universitys new wiring standard document, to govern the design and installation of all campus
telecommunications physical infrastructure. This standard, termed the University Wiring Standard
(UWS) 3.0 will replace the existing campus standard, UWS 2.0 first adopted in 1999. One component of
this new standard is the selection of cable management equipment to be utilized within campus telecom
rooms.
