C-130J Propeller Spares
The Government has a requirement for the acquisition of sustainment spares for C-130J propellers. This is a sole source acquisition due to unique supplies or services available from only one source or only one supplier with unique capabilities, under authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), to G.E. Aviation LLC (DBA Dowty Propellers), CAGE 93366.
DESCRIPTION: Five (5) Lots of various quantities of propeller parts for sustainment of the C-130J aircraft. Estimated award date is 5 Sep 2014.
All potential offerors should contact the buyer/PCO identified in this announcement for additional information or to communicate concerns with acquisition. Note 22 applies. The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 45 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
