C-130J Navigational Database Updates
SOURCE SOUGHT (Not a Notice of Solicitation)
The United States Air Force, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, C-130J Division, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio is seeking to identify potential sources possessing the expertise, capabilities, and experience needed to meet the following requirement. Provide the three (3) required C-130J Jeppesen Navigational Database updates (SF2, SF3, SF4) in the P2000 format used by pre-installed C-130J Communication/Navigation/Identification (CNI) System. The C-130J utilizes a Flight Management System (FMS) developed by Honeywell Aerospace Electronics Systems. The C-130J FMS requires raw flight data to be converted from Jeppesen flight data to an ARINC 424 format, then from ARINC 424 to P2000 format. The navigational database updates must occur every 28 days. This is a Foreign Military Sales effort for the Indian Air Force (IAF).
All interested firms shall submit a capabilities package that explicitly demonstrates company capabilities, knowledge, and experience with Communication/Navigation/Identification systems. Capabilities package should discuss specific examples of work performed as it directly pertains to this specific requirement.
Any information submitted by respondents to this sources sought is voluntary. This sources ought notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, nor will the Government reimburse any costs associated with the submission of information in response to this notice. Respondents will not individually be notified of the results of any Government assessments.
