CVS Caremark Supports Its Communities
The annual application period for the CVS Caremark Charitable Trust has opened. Applications will be considered from nonprofit organizations in communities throughout the U.S. where CVS pharmacies are located. The Trust's funding priorities include organizations that make differences in the lives of children with disabilities and organizations that focus on providing healthcare to the uninsured. For the purposes of this program, the Trust defines children as those individuals under the age of 21; disabilities may fall under three types: physical, developmental, or sensory. Uninsured persons may include seniors, adults, youth, and children. Applications will be accepted until June 15, 2009.
