CS-29 Black Bayou Culverts Structure Repairs
The USDA-Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) located in Alexandria, LA is issuing this pre-solicitation notice in advance of the solicitation to be issued for a Request for Proposal (RFP) under the procedures outlined in FAR Part 15 for the CS-29 Black Bayou Culverts Structure Repair Project located in Calcasieu Parish, LA.
This project will be a Total Small Business Set Aside under NAICS Code 237990 with a size standard of $36.5M. All Offerors will be required to be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) in order to be eligible for award.
This project shall consist of construction activities to include maintenance repairs to the existing structure consisting of construction of a cutoff and toewall adjacent to the structure, underpinning of the structure to provide additional structural support to the foundation, structure removal, placement of reinforced concrete, riprap and geotextile. Other tasks associated with this project include flotation access dredging, construction surveying, traffic control, dewatering, timber pile inspection, concrete box culvert inspection, and removal and repair of various flap gates, quality control and other incidental work. The magnitude of this project is between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000. All work shall be completed within 279 calendar days.
The full solicitation package including the construction specifications and drawings will be posted on or about July 30, 2014. The date/time for the site showing will also be posted at that time.
