THIS IS A PRE-SOLICIATION NOTICE The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs requires courier service for the Department of Veterans Affairs, Tennessee Valley Healthcare System (TVHS), Nashville VA medical Center (VAMC), 1310 24th Avenue South, Nashville, Tennessee 37212, Murfreesboro VAMC, 3400 Lebanon Pike, Murfreesboro, TN 37129, Chattanooga Community Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) 150 Debra Road, Suite 5201 6200 building Chattanooga, TN 37411, Clarksville CBOC 2291 Dalton Drive Suite F Clarksville Tn 37403, and Women s clinic at 1919 Charlotte Avenue Suite 300 Nashville TN 37203 in accordance with the Statement Of Work (SOW). The NAICS code is 492110 and the small business size standard for this procurement is 1,500 employees.
This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). The Contractor shall provide regularly scheduled pickups and deliveries of various items as identified in the SOW between the following VA Medical Centers and the associated Community-Based Outpatient Clinics.
Items to be transported include the following:
Surgical Instruments and trays
Laboratory specimens included, but not limited to: blood, urine, body fluids and/or biopsies, viral cultures, BPN specimens, influenza screens
Radiology Films
Interoffice Mail
Basic office supplies, such as paper, files, pencils, paperclips, etc.
Equipment that does not exceed 75 lbs.
Drugs for the pharmacy
All interested Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) firms must be registered in the The System for Award Management at http://www.sam.gov/ and registered at the VetBiz Vendor Information Pages: https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/Public/Register/Benefits.aspx as a SDVOSB firm.
PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE: The anticipated period of performance for this procurement will be an twelve (12) month base year from October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018, plus one (1) additional one-year option year that may be exercised at the discretion of the Government.
A Request for Quote (RFQ) for this service is anticipated to be released on or about August 1, 2017.
