COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO, DEPARTMENT OF HUMAN RESOURCES EMPOYEE ASSISTANCE COUNSELING SERVICES
The County of San Diego, Department of Human Resources, is requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide an external Employee Assistance Program (EAP) provider to serve approximately 14,000 employees. The County is interested in services that are structured to maximize accessibility for its employees and their dependents; and that are provided by professional staff experienced with large and diverse workforces. The current counseling model provides eight (8) counseling visits per each event to employees or members of the household. The provider will also manage an employee Rehabilitation Program (RTP) that would provide case management services to approximately 24 employees per year and will provide crisis counseling as needed. The expectation is to award a three-one year contract with two-one year options.
