CONSUMER AWARENESS AND INSTANT REBATE PROMOTION
WECC is looking for proposals for cooperation from grocery / drug store retailers and
CFL manufacturers that include contributions in the following areas:
1. A commitment at the retail level to bring into stock and sell a specified number of
bulbs.
2. Corporate commitment to communicate promotion procedures to participating
stores.
3. A competitive after discount price point for consumers.
4. Specified physical location on the sales floor where product will be placed.
5. Commitment to provide point of sale data that can be used to document
promotion lift and proof of performance (verification that specified number of units
have been sold using the Focus on Energy funding)
6. Cooperative advertising dollars.
7. Support in the development and/or printing of point of sale materials.
8. In-store support including delivering point of sale materials and training.
9. Any additional cooperative support that would make this promotion successful.
