To implement the initiative, the State has obtained Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding for supportive services, and housing assistance funding to support 2,000 project-based vouchers (PBV) and 1,000 Shelter Plus Care (S+C) units. The State has put together the administrative mechanisms for using these resources and is in the early stages of committing these resources with the assistance of contract subsidy administrators. The State is in need of consulting services to assist it with the coordination of implementation activities among multiple interested local parties and the smooth, efficient and effective commitment of these resources to the households who need them.
