CONSULTING ENGINEERING SERVICES 20 YEAR MASTER WATER PLAN UPDATE
The consultants primary tasks will be:
Provide professional engineering services to the Owner as part of a project team.
Familiarization with the utilitys systems and data including demand projection model.
Review the 2008 Water Management and Conservation Plan.
High level review of design criteria and concepts presented by the owner.
Review of the utilities existing hydraulic model (KYPIPE) and data set and calibration.
Analysis of current and future reservoir storage requirements.
Analysis of proposed treatment plant sites and backbone transmission system requirements.
o Hydraulic modeling of scenarios developed by the consultant will be performed by the Owner.
o Transmission main construction costs will be supplied by the Owner.
Preparation of a 20-year major capital improvements plan focused on new filtration plants, reservoir storage and major transmission mains.
Assist in presenting the updated Water Master Plan to the SUB Board members.
Review of water division management systems including:
○ Asset Management ○ SCADA System ○ Reports and trending
