New York City Economic Development Corporation (NYCEDC), on behalf of the Muller Local Redevelopment Authority (Muller LRA), is seeking a consultant or consultant team to prepare the Redevelopment Plan for the Sgt. Joseph E. Muller Army Reserve Center in the Bronx. The Redevelopment Plan will be submitted to the federal government by the Muller LRA including, but not limited to, an analysis on the continuum of care that exists in the Bronx for homeless services. The selected consultant will prepare all aspects of the LRAs Redevelopment Plan planning process with guidance and close coordination from the Muller LRA and other stakeholders. At the same time, the consultant will work with the local community and other public stakeholders through a public outreach process. The consultant will initially compile baseline information on environmental conditions, site characteristics and constraints, local housing information, and community concerns, goals, and objectives. The consultant will then integrate the existing conditions, guidance from the Muller LRA, and input from the public outreach to prepare the Redevelopment Plan. The consultant will meet with the Muller LRA on a regular basis. These meetings will provide an opportunity to discuss community concerns, to present deliverable items, and to interact with Muller LRA representatives during development of the proposed Reuse Plan.
