SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS: This is a request for information/market research to provide data for planning purposes ONLY. This sources sought synopsis DOES NOT constitute a request for proposal, request for quote, invitation for bid, nor does its issuance in any way restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government is not obligated to and WILL NOT pay for information received as a result of this announcement. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of interest, capabilities and qualifications.

Your responses to the information requested will assist the Government in determining the appropriate acquisition method.


The Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers located at Glynco, GA, is seeking a poetical source capable of furnishing all management, labor, materials, tools, equipment, coordination and transportation in support of construction for Building 36 at the Center for a new one (1)-story connection addition and a three 3-story training facility. The support of the construction as follows: Two phases of construction to allow training to continue. Existing two-story building (18k SF) to be renovated and added to. New addition to be a three-story structure (+/- 20k sf) with a one-story section connecting to existing building. Steel structure with CMU and brick masonry skin. Some demo of existing space. Addition of fire sprinklers. New and renovated mechanical, electrical and plumbing work. Expansion of existing building sitework to include pervious concrete parking, grading and loading dock. Expansion of existing site utilities. LEED Silver construction track. LED building and site lighting. Storefront exterior glass systems as well as conventional commercial doors and windows. Metal roofing combined with flat roofing with pavers to allow for occupied roof. Addition to have one elevator.


The estimate for this project is more than $10,000,000.00.

If qualified and interested, per the definition above, please submit a letter (maximum of 3 pages) via email stating the following:
1) Name of your company, address, point of contact with phone number, e-mail address, DUNS number, and fax number.
2) Your company's interest in submitting a proposal once solicitation is issued.
3) Business size for the assigned NAICS code. In addition to the size of business.
4) Company's capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity by including a brief description of at least (3) project, customer names and phone numbers, timeliness of performance, and dollar values of the projects.
5) Describe your company's bonding capability.


Each response shall be reviewed by the Contracting Officer for the purpose of determining whether there exists a reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers from responsible small businesses that are competitive in terms of market prices, quality, and delivery. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only.
In any joint venture or teaming arrangement the firm must qualify as a Small Business in accordance with NAICS code 236220 in order to be considered under this Sources Sought Notice.

Responses must be submitted to this office in writing, by email no later than 2:00 PM EST on January 8, 2018.
