The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC), Fort Stewart, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB), to award a single firm fixed price contract to Construct Outdoor Recreation Facility Building 8453, Hunter Army Air Field, GA. Building construction shall be wood framed, wood roof joists and fiberglass shingled roof. Interior shall be primarily wood stud walls, gypsum board and paint, concrete floors with vinyl tile in selected areas. Site work, Utilities, Mechanical, plumbing, and electrical materials as specified in the drawings. Construction includes Site Work, Architecture, Structural, Plumbing, HVAC, Compressed Air Systems, and Electrical construction. The work covered by this contract shall include all parts, labor and materials necessary to perform the work in strict accordance with the specifications and drawings.
This solicitation is 100% set aside for Hubzone Businesses under NAICS code 236220. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. The estimated magnitude of the project is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. Contract performance time is 180 calendar days from receipt of Notice to Proceed. Solicitation Number W9124M-14-B-0006, will be available for downloading at the Army Single Face to Industry website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi. A link may be provided through FedBizOpps at www.fbo.gov. Potential Bidders are responsible for monitoring ASFI for release of the solicitation package and any amendments. Information regarding date and time of an organized site visit will be contained in the solicitation. The solicitation will be available on or about July 15, 2014.

Paperless File System: MICC-Fort Stewart is operating a paperless contracting file system. A minimum of one copy of each document submitted to the contracting office shall be in an electronic format. Acceptable formats are PDF, DOC(x), XLS(x), TXT, JPG and XPS. All submissions shall include one (1) CD with all required documents and one (1) paper copy of each bid.
