CONSTRUCT BUILDING 46 MISSISSIPPI STATE
The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Agricultural Research Service, Western Business Service Center, anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract for a project entitled "Construct Building 46 Mississippi State" , at the USDA-ARS Poultry Research Unit, 810 Highway 12 E., Starkville, MS 39762. The work includes but is not limited to: The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, supervision, and materials required to perform all work in strict accordance to the specifications for Building 46, per the drawings and specifications. The period of performance is 270 calendar days after receipt of Notice to Proceed (NTP). The magnitude of construction is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. This is a 100% set-aside for competition among Small Business Contractors. The NAICS Code is 236220, with a size standard of $36.5 million. This will be an Invitation for Bid (IFB) and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-95. Solicitation No. AG-4431-S-17-0023 documents will be available for viewing and downloading at the Fed Biz Opps web site: www.fedbizopps.gov on or about July 10, 2017. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 1:30 p.m. CT. Any changes or additional information will be provided in the solicitation package. Bids will be due by 2:00 p.m., on August 09, 2017. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded to the responsible offer, who submits the lowest technically acceptable bid. All responsible Small Businesses may submit an offer which will be considered by the agency.
