534-329 Construction, Renovate Pharmacy (at the R H Johnson VA Medical Center 109 Bee Street Charleston SC)
Description of project and various trades to be included:
The project renovates existing space and will construct a new addition to the existing VAMC Pharmacy in Charleston, SC. The work will be primarily located in Wing A on the first floor of the VAMC.
Existing space to be renovated is approximately 7,000 square feet of floor space and the addition /in fill of approximately 3,000 square feet, adjacent to the existing pharmacy operation and will include a covered walkway and widening of the road.
A USP797 or USP800 compounding room will be constructed, a drug vault, prep areas, dispensing areas, storage, admin spaces, etc. This project will also include the renovation and new addition of the infrastructure required to support the pharmacy and will include but not be limited to: structural, civil, utility, architectural, fire suppression/fire alarm, communications, HVAC, security, communications, and specialties.
The project will be phased in such a way that the pharmacy operations will continue at all scheduled times without disruption or quality issues to the patients or staff. (At least 6 distinct phases are anticipated)
Completion expressed in calendar days from receipt of NTP.
Contract Completion Period from NTP to completion (including but not limited to Beneficial Occupancy Inspection, Punch List completion, Test and Balance, all Final Project Documents (redlines, test documentation, warranties), Operation and Maintenance Manuals, Operation and Maintenance Training, Final Invoice shall be 730 days.
BID SCHEDULE
Provide all plant, labor, tools, equipment and materials for performance of the requirements outlined in the Statement of Work.

THIS PROJECT IS SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. The Government will not pay, nor reimburse, any costs associated with responding to this request. The Government is under no obligation to award a contract as a result of this announcement.
The RFP for this project will be posted on the FBO website on or around August 14, 2017.
