The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey (ACC-NJ) Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey 07806-5000 has a proposed sole source acquisition to provide software maintenance/upgrades for the following COMSOL software licenses: COMSOL Multiphysics, Floating Network License, AC/DC Module, Floating Network License, CAD Import Module, Floating Network License, Corrosion Module, Floating Network License, ECAD Import Module, Floating Network License, Electrodeposition Module, Floating Network License, Fatigue Module, Floating Network License, LiveLink for Excel, Floating Network License, LiveLink for MATLAB, Floating Network License, Multibody Dynamics Module, Floating Network License, Nonlinear Structural Materials Module, Floating Network License and Particle Tracing Module, Floating Network License.
The Government intends to solicit, negotiate, and award a firm fixed price contract to COMSOL, Incorporated, 1 New England Executive park, Suite 350, Burlington, MA 01803, on a sole source basis. (See attached Limited Sources Justification) The period of performance shall include one (1) base year and four (4) additional option years for a total period of performance of five (5) years. The proposed sole source acquisition will utilize the authority under FAR 13.106-1(b)(1): For purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold (SAT), only one source reasonably available, urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand name, or industrial mobilization.
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement which shall be considered by the Government. The NAICS code for this effort is 511210 and the small business sized standard is $38,500,000. All questions/responses must be received NO LATER than August 23, 2019 3:00pm EST.
