COMMUNITY OUTREACH CONSULTING SERVICES

In April 2000, the Board of Supervisors authorized funding for a consultant to assist the county government with community outreach activities. Working with the consultant, the Public Information Office has initiated a series of community forums involving community leaders and residents of various communities. These forums have been designed to engage residents in County issues and processes, and to help the County get input from residents on key issues.
Under this contract, the community outreach consultant would be responsible for assisting the county in implementing and expanding its community outreach efforts in areas identified under the Scope of Services.
