The goal of the Community Development Block Grant HIV/AIDS Prevention Program is to reduce the rate of new HIV infections among Cleveland residents. Prevention interventions must utilize theoretical approaches that are evidence based and scientifically proven.
Interventions using approaches outlined in the Compendium of HIV Prevention Interventions with Evidence of Effectiveness will be given special consideration.
