8/10 - THE REQUEST FOR QUOTES IS NOW POSTED.
SYNOPSIS OF PENDING RFQ:
Marine Corps Installations East- Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune has a Brand Name Only requirement for several Cleaver-Brooks boiler parts that will be further identified in the RFQ.
The proposed acquisition is a 100% set aside for small business concerns. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 333414, Heating Equipment Manufacturing, and the small business size standard is 500 employees.
The Government will solicit and award this contract using simplified acquisition procedures, in accordance with FAR Part 12 & 13. The basis for award will be Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) and will be evaluated on: (1) price; (2) technical; and (3) delivery. Award will be issued on an all or none basis for all line items.
Government Request for Quote (RFQ), M6700118Q1281, to provide these products will be issued on or around 3 days from the posting of this synopsis. The solicitation will be available for download via the electronic data interchange at FedBizOpps, www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the responsibility of the quoter to continually view the website for the solicitation and any amendments. Contractors interested in doing business with the government shall be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database, http://www.sam.gov at the time the solicitation closes and agree to implement the Department of Defense web-based software application called Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance and Property Transfer (IRAPT, formerly WAWF) at https://wawf.eb.mil/. All responsible Small Businesses may submit a quote which will be considered.
