The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office 1 (NCO1) is seeking a contractor for work associated for interior alterations and renovations for Patient Privacy and Safety Improvements and addition of two enclosed stair tower structures and associated earthwork at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Brockton, Massachusetts.

Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations to renovate areas in Building 4, 1st floor (Areas A1, B1 and C1), 2nd floor (Areas A2, B2 and C2), and Basement (entire area), to enlarge shared and private patient bathrooms to include showers, to reconfigure patient room layouts as needed, to add a stair tower at dead end corridors in Units B and C, upgrade convector heating system, upgrade patient rooms for localized temperature controls, and to replace existing rooftop HVAC units with new system inside the building. Work includes, but is not limited to asbestos abatement, demolition, removal of existing structures, new stair towers construction, furnishing of labor and materials, supervision, equipment, walls, ceiling, rough and finish carpentry, flooring, fire protection, plumbing, HVAC, Electrical, and other items of work.

The VA Medical Center is soliciting a Firm-Fixed price contract with a performance period of 912 days after Notice to Proceed.

The NAICS Code is 236220 and the size standard is $36.5 Million.

Solicitation will be posted as a Request for Proposal (RFP). Award will be based on the best value to the Government. Evaluation factors are Technical, past performance and price.

The solicitation is a set aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses. All relevant solicitation documents may be accessible to view on the date of issue at the following website: http://www.fbo.gov which will include the SOW, Specifications, Drawings, pricing schedules, requirements and necessary information. Any amendments to the solicitation will be posted solely on this website. It is the responsibility of the offeror to verify the number of amendments issued. The solicitation will be available on or about May 1, 2018.

All interested SDVOSB firms must be registered in VETBIZ.GOV and Verified by VA CVE and registered in SAM (www.sam.gov) to be eligible for award of Government contracts.
