This announcement is a Request For Quotes for Herbicide Vegetation Treatment- 231.4 Acres.

The purpose of the project is to treat vegetation along selected road corridors on the Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area on the Chattooga River Ranger District. A combination of hack and squirt, cut-stem and foliar treatments will be used.

The project is located on the Lake Russell Wildlife Management Area (WMA) in Habersham and Stephens Counties, approximately 7 air miles southwest of Toccoa, GA.

Contractor shall furnish all equipment with operator, equipment, materials, supplies (herbicides, adjuvants, dye, and water), supervision, and all work incidental services necessary to compete vegetation treatment.

Contractor will maintain an accurate daily treatment log of work activities and chemicals applied in treatment sites, with a copy made available to FS at billing or upon request. The daily log will be maintained for each product (if applied separately) for each site. A sample pesticide use log form will be supplied to the contractor by the Forest Service.

General Contract Specs for Herbicide Application:
Contractor must have appropriate certification as a Pesticide Applicator in the State of Georgia.

Treatments will be implemented no earlier than June 1st and no later than August 31, 2017.

A COMPLETE SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE AVAILABLE TO THIS WEBSITE BY APRIL 6, 2017.
