REQUEST FOR QUOTE for NNIS Treatment near Blairsville, GA
The contractor will provide all labor, supervision, transportation, equipment, tools, herbicide, herbicide carriers or adjuvant, herbicide dye, permits and licenses, worker personal protective equipment (PPE), and incidentals necessary to perform the required work.
Treatment will be applied to targeted vegetation at designated locations along both sides of the listed roads and the perimeter associated wildlife openings and dispersed camp sites. Unless otherwise specified, the area to be treated includes a 20 foot-wide strip (as measured from the inner edge of the grassy road shoulder) either side of the road. The starting and ending points on the roads are marked in pink paint.
All sites (Items 1 and 2) were previously treated during the summer of 2016. This contract will involve follow-up treatment of these previously treated sites.
Treatment will be for 65.7 Acres with an Optional Item of 55.5 Acres.
The project will require various NNIS treatments entailing any or all of the following methods: chainsaw or cutting of trees, shrubs, and woody vines with application of herbicide to the cut surface, and foliar spraying.
Contractors shall have both a contractor's license and professional applicator's license with the State of Georgia (Georgia State Pesticide Contractor's license). All contractor crew leaders must be certified to apply herbicides in the state of Georgia and must be on-site at all times (Georgia State Pesticide Applicator's license).
Estimated Start Date is June 1, 2017 with a Completion Date of August 31, 2017.
A COMPLETE SOLICITATION PACKAGE WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THIS SITE BY APRIL 7, 2017.
