A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select "Requests for Proposal ( RFP ) / Invitation For Bid (IFB)" from the menu under the tab "Solicitations." Then search for and choose the RFP you wish to download. RFPs are in portable document format (PDF). To download and view these documents you will need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. This software is available free at: http://www.adobe.com. A paper copy of this solicitation will not be available to requestors. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. The RFP-solicitation issue date 08/15/2018 and respond due date 09/14/2018.
This requirement was authorized by purchase request 72012787; and solicit as Unrestricted for approved sources of supply. A Request for Quote (RFQ), SPE4A7-18-R-1358 was issued to establish a Definite Quantity Firm Fixed Price type contract; on NSN 1680-01-524-0830, Cell, Fuel, Aircraft for 75 each. Item in accordance with Bell Helicopter, Cage 97499; Basic Dwg NR 97499 450-366-003 Revision NR D dtd 11/07/2007 Part Number-450-366-003-001 Requirements. Approved Source; American Fuel Cell & Coated; Cage 05476; Part Number 62652-1. Item is Critical Application and Export Controlled. Item is not Critical/Flight Safety (CSI) as verified on the CSI lists on July 17, 2018 neither is Commercial.
Required delivery objective is 375 days total for total production. Delivery of production requested at FOB Point @ Origin with Inspection & Acceptance at Origin. Progress Payments are not authorized for this purchase.
