CCTV Security Systems
The U. S. Coast Guard (USCG) Shore Infrastructure Logistics Center (SILC COB4-E), Norfolk, VA is procuring a contractor capable of providing repairs and improvements to the current security systems at the Housing Area as well as the Hangar area located within 3 miles from the base at the United State Coast Guard Detachment Borinquen located in Aguadilla, Puerto, Rico.
This requirement will be issued as a 100% 8(a) Set-Aside competitive requirement. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621 Security System Services (except Locksmith) with a size standard of 20.5M average per year.
The solicitation will be issued in accordance with the policies and procedures contained in FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items and the procedures in FAR Subpart 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. There are no option periods for this requirement.
The solicitation REQUEST FOR QUOTATION (RFQ) 70Z08419QBB700500 will be issued on or about 16 August 2019 with a closing date of receipts of proposals of 5 September 2019 at 3:00pm EST. The RFQ will be posted electronically on the Governmentwide Point of Entry (GPE), FEDBIZOPPS, which may be accessed via the Internet at http://www.fbo.gov. No paper copies of the solicitation and/or amendments will be distributed. It is the potential offeror's responsibility to monitor this avenue for release of solicitation and subsequent amendments.
