PRON: D19H0101D1. The Government proposes to acquire, on a Firm-Fixed Price One Time Buy contract, qty 10, of a Cable Assembly Fiber; NSN: 6020-01-644-7469, P/N: 13659891-2, applicable to the M-D6 weapon system
This requirement is restricted to FIBER SYSTEMS INTERNATIONAL, INC, CAGE CODE: 0YPM2 AND ACE & COMPANY, INC, CAGE CODE: 1HVU5.
This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. Although, by DoD-STD-100 definition, altered and selected items shall have an adequate technical data package, data review discloses that required
data or data rights are not in Government possession and cannot be economically obtained. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(1) having only a limited number of responsible sources. The Government is interested in all businesses to include 8(a), small business and small disadvantaged business, Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned, Hubzone, and Women-Owned small business concerns. All contractors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be registered as a potential source. Firms that possess the ability and can produce the required item(s) described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Contractors are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: https://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar then click on AMCOM Spare Parts Manufacturer or Distributor SAR. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
