Regional Contracting Office Wiesbaden intends to competitively award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract for the painting of metal doors and poles at Clay Kaserne and Newman Village, USAG Wiesbaden, Germany.


Magnitude of Work: Estimated between $210,000.00 and $270,000.00


Performance Period: 150 calendar days.


Government's actual minimum needs: See attached SOW - Paint Metal Doors.


This is a Request for Technical Proposals and will be conducted as a Two Step Sealed Bid under Subpart 14.5 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR). It will be difficult to submit an acceptable proposal without attending the scheduled site visit, so all interested vendors are urged and expected to inspect the site where the work will be performed.


SITE VISIT: A one-time site visit for this requirement will be held.


DATE: 29 July 2019


TIME: 10:00 hours Central European Time (CET)


LOCATION: Lucius D. Clay Kaserne, 65205 Wiesbaden, Germany


No later than 10:00 hrs. Central European Time (CET) on 26 July 2019, interested vendors shall inform Martin Glueck, martin.glueck.ln@mail.mil and Dana N. Justice, dana.n.justice.civ@mail.mil of their intent to attend the site visit. This notification shall include the full names of all attendees. Only two (2) representatives from each vendor may attend the site visit.


Site visit attendees are required to be at the main gate of Clay Kaserne no later than 10:00 am on the scheduled date. The meeting point for the site visit is the Visitors Center on the right side of the main entrance to Clay Kaserne. All attendees must present their identification card or passport and car registration to gain entry. Security guards may perform body search and/or vehicle inspections.
