To compliment provision already in place the LSC South West region intends to make available funding from its ESF Co-Financed Resources to support apprentices who have been made redundant, or have been issued with a notice of redundancy, or those at risk of redundancy.
The support will be to assist in finding a work based training placement with an employer which will enable the apprentice to complete their apprenticeship framework and enhance their opportunity to secure alternative employment. Funding is also available to provide bursaries to support the recruitment of Apprentices in the South West Region.
