Bus Transport
The terms of this contract shall provide for the transport of used school buses owned/purchased by the SC Department of Education, office of transportation. The transport of these buses will be on an as need basis. Transport will be from various school districts (see attached listing) in the state of Kentucky to Columbia, South Carolina.
The successful vendor shall:
Be fully licensed and bonded as a vehicle transport provider having a minimum of five years experience,
Provide a certificate of insurance coverage for any damages (windshield from road damage excluded) and/or liability resulting from the transportation of the vehicle(s) from point of origin to point of delivery,
Insure that all drivers are qualified and properly licensed
Insure that all drivers comply with applicable DOT regulations, and
Provide delivery in a timely manner from date of request, but not to exceed 30 days.
