If an interested party's proposal package has not completed all of the items listed on the first 2 pages of SF1449_ 12639519R0021 - Instructions, the Proposal may be considered incomplete for evaluation purposes and no further consideration will be given, thereby making proposal ineligible for award.



In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation/Provision 52.237-1 -- Site Visit; Offerors are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.



Site visits are at the discretion of the facility and are by appointment only and proper government issued identification is required.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, Plant Protection and Quarantine, National Plant Germplasm Quarantine Center in Beltsville, MD intends to issue a formal Request For Proposals for a Firm Fixed Priced Contract for building replacement of their Water Purification System, and quarterly preventative maintenance of the system for a base period of twelve months plus four twelve month option periods

The solicitation and evaluation procedures will be prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Parts 12 and 13 using the format found at FAR Subpart 12.3 and supplemented with additional information included the solicitation.


 
This requirement will be issued as a Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 52.219-6. (Nov 2011) In accordance with Agricultural Acquisition Regulation ( AGAR )452.219-70 (NOV 1996) Size Standard and NAICS Code Information :
