Budget and Legislative Analyst Services
The Board of Supervisors (Board) seeks a Budget and Legislative Analyst to provide research, analysis and advice on legislative matters. The Board and the people of San Francisco have had the services of a Budget Analyst provided prior to 1979 by the Bureau of the Budget. Since fiscal year 1978-1979, the Board of Supervisors has contracted out these services.
The Board seeks to identify a qualified consultant team to assist the policymakers in evaluating legislative proposals, most significantly, the Annual Appropriation and Salary Ordinances (more commonly known as the budget), and to perform management audits in accordance with United States Accountability Office (GAO) government auditing standards for the City and County of San Francisco (City).
