Broadband Data Mapping
The Utah Public Service Commission (PSC), the Department of Technology Services (DTS) and the Automated Geographic Reference Center (AGRC), a division of DTS, areresearching the various methodologiesand technologies that may be used in developing accurate, comprehensive, address/parcel levelstate-widebroadband mapping datawhich could then be integrated with existing state government GIS mapping databases.In an attempt to identify the possible methodologiesand technologies that the state may consider for determining availability of broadband services to its residents,and identifying and tracking use of broadband services, we are issuing thisREQUEST FOR INFORMATION.This request is made to provide information to the state for refining an approach for meeting the requirements of the National Telecommunications and Information Administration State Broadband Data and Development Program.
