Bridge Work

Opportunity Description:
Work shall include the installation of a new bridge culvert over a Tributary. The Contractor shall install a 2740 mm diameter SPCSP culvert by 80.47 m invert length as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culvert will be located on a 30 degree RHF skew to the local road.
The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
- Traffic accommodation
- Removal of existing bridge structure
- Fish capture and release
- Turbidity monitoring
- Excavation including geotextile filter fabric
- Supply and assembly of culvert materials (2740 mm dia. SPCSP, 1200 mm dia. CSP, and connection)
- Backfill including backfill material testing
- Heavy rock riprap erosion protection
- Roadway work
- Guardrail including delineator guide posts
- Permanent environmental protection devices
