Bridge Work

Opportunity Description:
Work shall include the installation of a new bridge culvert over a Tributary. The Contractor shall install a 2740 mm diameter SPCSP culvert by 81.69 m invert length as per the Drawings and Section 18 of the Specifications for Bridge Construction. The culvert will be located on a 10 degree RHF skew to the local road.
The Scope of the Work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
-Traffic accommodation
-Removal of existing bridge structure
-Fish capture and release (determination)
-Turbidity monitoring
-Excavation including geotextile filter fabric
-Supply and assembly of culvert materials
-Backfill including backfill material testing
-Concrete end treatment including concrete testing and small bridge plaque
-Heavy rock riprap erosion protection
-Roadway work
-Permanent environmental protection devices
