Bridge Rehabilitation Study Report
The City is seeking to engage a Consulting Engineering firm to provide engineering services for the preparation of a Rehabilitation Study Report for the Rehabilitation of the Sunnyside Street Bridge over Yantic River. The extent of the improvements will be determined after the completion of a Rehabilitation Study, which will be prepared by the selected consultant. It is anticipated that these improvements will include formalizing an alternating one-way traffic pattern over the bridge, rehabilitation of the superstructure, and scour protection installation. Additional improvements may include but not necessarily be limited to full depth reconstruction of roadway approaches; upgrading of bridge rails, roadway railing and sidewalks; and utility adjustments.
