Bridge Reconstruction Projects
Multiple holes have developed in the bridge deck of the eastern bridge (temporarily repaired with steel plates). The decks of the two 65 year old bridges will be replaced due to the poor condition. In addition, a number of other features on the bridges will be replaced including new bridge railing, north and south roadway improvements, future rail car use, landscape enhancements and mid block pedestrian crossings.
