Bridge Painting and Maintenance
he City of Roswell is accepting sealed bids from qualified construction contractors for Bridge Painting and Maintenance, Project No.09TRA011.
Sealed bids will be received no later than 2:00 PM, Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at the City of Roswell Purchasing Division, Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill Street Suite 130, Roswell, Georgia 30075, at which time they will be opened and publicly read aloud. Bids received after the above date and time, or in any location other than the Purchasing Division, will not be considered.
There will be a pre-bid conference Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 11:00 AM. This conference will be held in the Room 220, Roswell City Hall, 38 Hill St., Roswell, GA. 30075. Attendance is not required, but highly recommended.
Project Scope:
This project will include all work, labor, materials and equipment required for the completion of the work on existing bridges at various locations in the City of Roswell.
The work shall include traffic control, and other incidental items related to bridgework as described.

Additional information may be obtained by contacting City of Roswell Purchasing Department at 770-641-3718. Please refer to bid name and number when requesting information. The City of Roswell reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities.
The selected contractor must be able to start work within ten (10) calendar days after the Notice to Proceed is issued. The time of completion for the project is one hundred and twenty (120) calendar days from the date of the Notice to Proceed. The State of Georgia Department of Transportation Standard Specifications Construction of Transportation Systems (current edition) shall apply.
