"A new library is to be constructed adjacent to the west end of Fuerst Park. This new facility presented the city with an opportunity to engage the community in a planning process to determine the best community use of the property. A firm conducted a study of the property, gathered input and provided conceptual drawings. On April 7, 2008, the study was presented to City Council and initial development components to be developed were approved in the FY 2008-2009 budget." -RFP Author
