The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), Eastern Regional Acquisition, Norfolk, VA on behalf of Office of Marine and Aviation Operations (OMAO) is soliciting a requirement to perform the bridge deck preservation aboard the NOAA Ship Okeanos Explorer, North Kingstown RI. Provide all labor, material and equipment in accordance with the attached Statements of Work.
This RFQ is 100 percent set-aside for small business concerns. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 336611, which has a corresponding size standard of 1,000 employees.
Solicitation number EA-133M-14-RQ-0508 will be issued May 29, 2014 and will close June 12, 2014.
The total period of performance for all work specified in the Statement of Work is July 10, 2014 through July 23, 2014 for the bridge deck deck preservation
Evaluation factors for Award
The Government will issue a firm fixed price purchase order to the responsible bidder whose bid, conforming to the solicitation results in the best value to the Government, considering both price and nonprice factors as specified in the solicitation. The following factors will be used to evaluate quotations:
Past Experience: Vendors shall provide a minimum of three jobs of similar scope and size within the past three years.
Price: Vendors will be evaluated on the basis of low price in conjunction with past experience.
Liability Insurance must be submitted with offers.
All responsible sources may submit a quotation which shall be considered by the agency. The anticipated award date is on or about June 19, 2014. Contractors are encouraged to register with the FedBizOpps Vendor Notification Service as well as the Interested Vendors List for this acquisition (see applicable tab within FedBizOpps where this synopsis/solicitation is posted).
