Bradley Block 1 Commander's Independent Viewer

Synopsis for Commanders' Viewer Unit production solicitation W31P4Q-17-R-0029:
The proposed solicitation issue date is on or about 20 August 2017 with a closing date of 20 October 2017. The planned procurement is for production of the Commander's Independent Viewer (CIV) P/N 1983314-3/12975314, Commander's Viewer Units (CVU) for Fiscal Year (FY) 18 with an option in FY19. The anticipated requirement is for a base quantity of 60 CVUs in FY18 and option quantity of 61 in FY19, for a total of 121 CVU's. The CVU consists of the Gimbal Assembly Unit (GAU) PN 4977398/13007315, the Sensor Assembly Unit (SAU) PN 4977388/13007314, and the Servo Electronics Unit (SEU) PN 3227329/12975898-2.
The Government does not own the Technical Drawing Package for the CIV/CVU's. The planned procurement is to be sole source to Raytheon Missile Systems, Cage Code 96214 under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for additional competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to further compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a full and open competitive procurement.
A Firm Fixed Price contract is anticipated to be awarded by the Government. The procurement will require access to classified information.
