DSIP and DVE Wide
This notice of intent is to permit Other than Full and Open Competition. Army Contracting Command - Warren (ACC-WRN) intends to award a new Firm Fixed-Price contract to DRS Network & Imaging Systems, LLC, Melbourne, FL (CAGE code 1P1V0) for the production of up to 62 units of hardware, with the 2 option year quantities of 205 units for the first option year, and 206 units for the second option year, in support of installation onto the Bradley A4 production vehicles. This procurement is for the purchase of Driver's Switch and Indicator Panel (DSIP) PN 12582707 and Driver's Vision Enhancer wide (DVE wide) PN12577849. Product Manager (PdM) BFV is acquiring these parts. For the proposed contract action, the Government intends to solicit and negotiate on the authority permitting Other than Full and Open Competition as in 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as authorized by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(2)(ii)(B). The Justification and Approval (J&A) permitting Other than Full and Open Competition, was signed by the Competition Advocate on 3 August 2017. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, for consideration by ACC-WRN. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is solely within the discretion of the Government.
