Boundary Fencing
THIS IS A WETLAND; THE INSTALLATION MUST BE DONE WHILE THE
GROUND IS FROZEN.
Five foot, three-wire smooth zinc-coated high tensile wire fence system,
12 gauge with a minimum tensile strength of 200,000 pounds per square inch.
System must comply with all Wisconsin Department of Transportation
specifications for high tensile smooth wire fence systems, except as otherwise
specified herein. Wires shall be placed at 15, 30 and 45 from the ground,
measured at the posts. Each post shall be composed of two channel U metal 6 6
delineator posts connected with galvanized bolts, lock washers and nuts and
driven 7 feet into the ground, leaving 5 feet of post above ground. Posts shall be
spaced 10. Stays and fasteners shall conform to the requirements of the
appropriate ASTM for the fencing material specified. Wire is to be connected to
posts with hangers and/or through sleevesso as to allow maximum flexibility in
the event of post movement .
