The Erie VA Medical Center is seeking information regarding the size (length) and weight of support beams/boom which will be used to mount Surgical equipment.
Known:
The I-beams were designed for a 500 lb. point load at midspan in addition to the code required gravity loads. Documents provided include:
" Attachment A: Needed Clear Zone Requirement
" Attachment B: Construction Plan Equipment Location Dimensions
" Attachment C: AS203 - Equipment Plan and Schedule
" Attachment D: AS205 - Roof Framing Plan with RFI047 Included
" Attachment E: Information Submittal Form
Information Needed:
In order to ensure there is sufficient space retained to accommodate the equipment needed, we require additional information. Please submit the following information to [email protected] no later than Friday, July 4, 2014. Please provide the following:
" The requested dimensions shown on Attachment A & B by listing them on Attachment E (Information Submittal Form). Attachment B already has the dimensions shown. Please verify or update these dimensions on Attachment E.
" An installation diagram of each of the 12 locations showing the size and orientation of the support steel and the attachment locations to the building's structure.
" Any additional information that would be beneficial to the Government to ensure plenum space is allocated for the successful equipment offeror.

Request for Information: Operating Room Equipment / Packages
The Department of Veterans Affairs in Erie, Pennsylvania is seeking information regarding Operating Room Equipment. Several requested items are listed below. If your company can provide all or most of these items, please submit the following information to [email protected], no later than January 22, 2014 @ 1:00pm EST.
Information to Submit
" Whether or not endoscopy image management is compatible with PACS image storage
" Ability to view electronic patient records on surgical monitors
" Whether or not your company installs equipment, including ceiling drop equipment for surgical monitors and lighting
" Product brochures and other publically-available information
" GSA Schedule, if applicable
" Socioeconomic status of your company
" List of federal contracts held by your company
" Confirmation that your company is listed in SAM
Items (Operating Room)
" Anesthesia supply column-air, Oxygen, Nitrous Oxygen, Data, Electric
" Operating Room equipment supply column - holds endoscopy equipment, etc.
" LED (or other) Surgical Lights
" OR Table, motorized movement (minimum capacity 1,000 lbs in normal position; 500 lbs in altered configurations)
" Scrub sinks
" Ceiling-mounted flat screen monitors; at least 26 inches
" Immediate-use steam sterilizer
" Blanket Warmer (full size, free-standing unit; minimum capacity is 20 cubic feet)
" Pass-through storage cabinets
