Bookstore
It is the intent of the State to solicit proposals on behalf of The University from college bookstore companies for the management and operation of The Bookstore. The scope of operation will include, but will not be limited to: procurement and sale of new textbooks, used textbooks, electronic/digital books, reference and trade books, stationery, student supplies, spirit items, and other merchandise items normally sold in a college bookstore. Services shall include but not be limited to providing special book orders and correspondence course materials; used textbook purchase (buyback); copyright clearance and course packs; as well as providing other services ordinarily made available in college bookstores.
The scope of the Bookstore operation will not include the sale of drinks, snacks, candy bars, and other items to be consumed on premises. However, certain convenience store items such as candy bars and snacks, etc. may be sold for consumption away from the Bookstore premises.
