Bond Underwriting Services
The Senior Managing Underwriter and Co-Managers chosen to provide bond
underwriting services will assist the Authority to develop the proposed plan(s) of finance.
Firms responding to this invitation should be able to provide, at a minimum, the following
services:
Senior Manager:
• Senior book runner
• Lead the underwriting syndicate
• Pricing coordinator
• Marketing of the issue
• Structure of the financing (in coordination with the Authority’s Financial Advisor)
• Determine and obtain bids on credit enhancement alternatives
• Compliance with disclosure standards
• Investor liaison
• Rating materials and presentations
• All other conventional roles of a senior manager
Co-Manager:
• Assist in marketing the issue and provide discrete “niches” in marketing the
bonds
• Be available to provide market commentary when requested
