MARKET SURVEY CAPABILITY ASSESSMENT FOR AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS TRAINING ON BOEING B-787 FOR AIRWORTHINESS (MAINTENANCE/AVIONICS) INSPECTORS EMPLOYED BY THE FEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATION (FAA).

This is a market survey for a Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite Delivery / Requirements Type Contract for the acquisition of Aircraft Systems Training for Boeing B-787. The responses to this market survey will be used for information purposes only. This is not a Screening Information Request or request of proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals.

The FAA is surveying to find capable contractors able to provide the Aircraft Systems Training for the Boeing B-787 aircraft in accordance with attached Performance Work Statement.

The FAA intends to solicit and negotiate only with Boeing US Training and Flight Services, LLC, Renton, WA, 98057. At this time, it appears Boeing is the only vendor to train on the B-787, which is a relatively new aircraft. Boeing US Training and Flight Services, LLC is the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) of this training course.

The contractor is to provide B-787 Aircraft Systems Training to FAA Airworthiness Inspectors/Engineers. The contractor may provide this training through their standard course offered to the public or other governmental agencies or by submitting a course solely intended for FAA inspectors.

FAA formal training consists of training courses with agency level course numbers that will be officially recorded in the employeebs personnel records. FAA employees may be scheduled into classes with non-FAA customers. The class size will range from one (1) FAA employee to a maximum of twelve (12) FAA employees and the course length shall provide approximately 80 hours of instruction and accomplish the training outcome specified in Section H of the PWS.

The purpose of this survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and capable of providing the Boeing B-787 Aircraft Systems Training.

The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendorbs expense.

The principle North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this effort is 611512 Flight Training, with a size standard of 25.5 million.
