Boat Brokerage
The University has one (1) vessel, R/V Olympic (Exhibit C), for immediate sale and possibly a second
vessel, R/V Sleep Robber (Exhibit D), which would be available for sale in the next 6 weeks. The IRFP is being initiated to find a suitable broker to facilitate
the marketing, sale and required closing documentation for the sale of the vessel(s).
These vessels are participants in the Pacific Coast Groundfish Fishing Capacity Reduction Program and
may never be used in any capacity of any kind whatsoever as a fishing vessel, either under United
States or Foreign registration. Research catches can be taken, but are the property and responsibility of
any contracting agency or research program.
