This is an open market acquisition for Blood Testing Services to include single donor unit testing, confirmatory testing, and reduced leukocyte testing for the Keesler Medical Center located at Keesler Air Force Base, MS. The period of performance for this contract is expected to be 1 Oct 2014 - 30 Sep 2015 with options to extend for an additional 54 months. The place of performance is unknown; however, the Contracting Officer has requested wage determinations for New Orleans, LA, Flowood, MS, Norcross, GA, Burlington, NC, and Charlotte, NC as the most likely places of performance. Wage determinations for additional possible places of performance will be requested if the request is received in writing (fax and e-mail OK) no later than 12 Aug 2014. The anticipated date the solicitation will be posted to http://www.fedbizopps.gov is 15 Ju1 2014. The applicable NAICS code for this acquisition is 621511 and the small business standard is $30.0 million. The government anticipates award of a firm-fixed price contract as result of the solicitation. The solicitation may be downloaded from FedBizOpps, since copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract with any DoD agency. Registration may be accomplished at https://www.sam.gov/.
