Blind River Rapids Picnic Shelter

Description
The purpose of this project is to make improvements to one picnic site. Work includes but is not limited to the following: deliver, and install one picnic shelter with foundation as shown in drawings. It is anticipated the shelter can be a pre-engineered structure from a commercial source.
Location
Blind River Rapids Trail is located on Mitkof Island, approximately 14 miles south of Petersburg, Alaska. Petersburg is a full service community, with daily commercial jet service and regularly scheduled ferry and commercial barge service. Blind River Rapids Trail is accessible by paved road from Petersburg via Mitkof Highway. The project site is located in a muskeg environment along an existing boardwalk trail, approximately 2,025 feet from the Blind River Rapids Trail parking lot.
Range of Magnitude: Between $25,000 and $100,000.
