The Texas Air National Guard 149th Fighter Wing is issuing a Request for Proposals to award a single firm fixed-price contract for construction, to provide all labor, materials, equipment and supervision necessary to complete the scope of work as described to renovate the storage room in building 917, room 204. Place of performance is JBSA-Lackland AFB, TX. The contract duration is 70 days after NTP. This project is set aside 100% for Small Business. The North American Industry Classification (NAICS) Code is 236220, with a size standard of $36,500,000. The magnitude is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00.
Your attention is directed to FAR CLAUSE 52.219-14 (c) (3) LIMITATIONS ON SUBCONTRACTING which states "By submission of an offer and execution of a contract, the Offeror /Contractor agrees that in performance of the contract the concern will perform at least 15 percent of the cost of the contract, not including the cost of materials, with its own employees" applies to this project.
The date for the pre-proposal conference is on 21 August 2018, 10:00AM local time, location will be in solicitation. Interested contractors are encouraged to attend and shall follow conference registration and base access requirements shown below. A site visit will follow the pre-proposal conference. All questions for the pre-proposal conference/site visit must be submitted by 20 August 2018 via email to usaf.tx.149-fw.mbx.msg-msc@mail.mil with the Subject "B917 Renovate Storage Room".
